Saugus Business Partnership Donates to the Saugus Public Library

Saugus, MA

The Saugus Business Partnership (SBP) recently presented a donation to the Saugus Public Library's Young Adult Program. The funds will be used to enhance the summer program and will enable the library to conduct additional programs for middle and high school students, including writing workshops, cooking programs and mystery nights. Interim director Ewa Jankowska, second from right, and research librarian Mary O'™Connell, second from left, accepted the donation from SBP Treasurer John Smolinsky, left, and SBP President Donald Wong, right. According to the interim director, the donation is a welcome addition in light of the tight economy.

Founded in 2003 by four local business leaders, the Saugus Business Partnership (SBP) was created to improve and enhance the quality of life in Saugus. The SBP works to keep local programs up and running, and is committed to research, analyze and develop policy on issues affecting the economy in Saugus.
