Saugus Business Partnership Donates to M.E.G.

Saugus, MA

The Saugus Business Partnership (SBP) recently presented a $5,000 matching donation to the Marleah Elizabeth Graves (M.E.G.) Foundation for the renovation and restoration of the historic Cliftondale School in Saugus. M.E.G. Foundation Director (from left) Marilyn Carlson, Clerk Ruth Swanson, and President Janice Jarosz accepted the donation from SBP Treasurer John Smolinsky (second from right) and President Donald Wong (right). The SBP donation matches the 2008 Partnership Grant recently awarded to the Foundation by the Essex National Heritage Commission.



Founded in 2003 by four local business leaders, the Saugus Business Partnership (SBP) was created to improve and enhance the quality of life in Saugus. The SBP works to keep local programs up and running, and is committed to research, analyze and develop policy on issues affecting the economy in Saugus.
