Jim McIver, center, Clerk of the Saugus Business Partnership (SBP) was recognized by the SBP for his “determination, commitment, sense of purpose and conviction for the betterment of the Saugus community” during the recent quarterly meeting of the organization. Among the SBP members who were on hand to congratulate McIver as he was presented with the Community Service Award were (from left to right) SBP Treasurer John Smolinsky, John Vassapoli, Larry Shuman, (McIver), Steve Agganis, SBP Vice President Bill Doyle, and SBP President Donald Wong.
Founded in 2003 by four local business leaders, the Saugus Business Partnership (SBP) was created to improve and enhance the quality of life in Saugus. The SBP works to keep local programs up and running, and is committed to research, analyze and develop policy on issues affecting the economy in Saugus.
