Wine Tasting and Silent Auction at the Library

The Friends of the Saugus Public Library and the Saugus Business Partnership (SBP) recently co-sponsored the 1st annual Evening of Wine Tasting and Silent Auction at the Library, an event to benefit Saugus Public Library programs, book collections, services and physical plant. Mary Rose Quinn, (second from right) head librarian for the Saugus Public Library, had an opportunity to thank SBP founders (from left) Russell Robbat, Palace Entertainment Complex; Jim McIver, Plant Manager, RESCO; John Smolinsky, Chief Executive Officer, Saugus Federal Credit Union; and Donald Wong, President, Kowloon's Restaurant for their part in the success of the event which was attended by over 300 Saugus residents and business representatives.



Founded in 2003 by four local business leaders, the Saugus Business Partnership (SBP) was created to improve and enhance the quality of life in Saugus. The SBP works to keep local programs up and running, and is committed to research, analyze and develop policy on issues affecting the economy in Saugus.
